Meet Jacqualyn Shaner
Jacqualyn Shaner has been an integral part of the P&P Industries team since joining our company in 2019. Starting as a contractor from a staffing agency, she has transitioned to her current position as a Warehouse Specialist and Safety Coordinator. Jacqualyn shares a little more about her journey with P&P Industries below.
Q: Can you describe what an average day looks like in your position?
A: In the morning, I get all the paperwork ready and get shipments prepared to go out. In the afternoon, I do safety walks and audits and work on safety projects.
Q: When did you start working for the company?
A: August 19, 2019.
Q: How has your role at P&P Industries evolved?
A: I started as a contractor from a staffing agency, production cell operator, assembly lead operator, shipping department, and finally safety coordinator.
Q: What do you enjoy the most about working at P&P Industries?
A: Talking to the truck drivers that come onsite to pick up shipments.
Q: What are some of the most valuable lessons you’ve learned while working for P&P Industries?
A: Having patience and more confidence talking in front of people.
Q: Can you describe a particularly memorable experience during your time at the company? Could be a proud moment, a funny story, a challenging project, etc.
A: Hitting five amazing years!
Q: Can you share any interesting or little-known facts about P&P Industries that most people might not know?
A: Even the owners will work the floor if needed. Everyone is a team player and works together.
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering a career with P&P Industries?
A: Be understanding and follow the rules.
Q: How would you summarize your overall experience working at P&P Industries – what makes you proud to have been a part of this company for so many years?
A: My overall experience with the company through the last five years has been amazing. It’s a great work environment, where people aren’t only compensated fairly for their work, but given many opportunities to grow and learn new things in their field of work.
