Job Description
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on tools including polishing
- Perform change overs of production tooling
- Interface with Quality; oversee incoming tool assessments
- Interface with production; providing support and basic troubleshooting expertise
- Continuously learn about the tools, the injection molding process, and tool maintenance
- Demonstrate P&P Core Values
- Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic; Adhere to safety procedures at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in injection molding or machine shop
- Experience working in a Lean facility preferred
- Demonstrated basic skills math and blueprint reading/2D and 3D digital design reading
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of machine and shop principles and use of hand tools
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Licensed Fork Truck, Scissor Lift, and Crane Operator preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, bend/twist, work in high places, lift up to 55 pounds, travel throughout the facility
and differentiate between all colors
