Job Description
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Accountable for daily operations of assigned production line
- Follow Production Work Instructions and adhere to Quality standards at all times
- Perform work cell area production operations of press and all other machinery and equipment
- Monitor product and identify defective parts
- Document in and maintain daily logbook for each assigned work cell area and machine
- Assist with work cell area preparation
- Perform finished product counting, packaging, and labeling
- Maintain work cell area cleanliness standards
- Interface with cell support and quality teams
- Demonstrate P&P Core Values
- Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working in a Lean facility preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedules
- Demonstrated competency in basic math
- Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work cell areas
- Ability to sit, stand for extended periods, bend and twist, lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors
